Rotary Club of Oaklawn - Special "Kids' Day" Event!

On Saturday, May 7, Oaklawn Rotary hosted 32 local at-risk youth and their chaperones from Ouachita Children’s Center and Men Mentoring Young Men for “Kids’ Day” at Arc Isle.  The kids enjoyed a variety of fun activities including archery, football toss, Baggo, fishing, volleyball, basketball, tetherball and horseshoes.  Every child experienced the joy of catching at least one fish!

After a pizza picnic lunch, they waved goodbye, carrying goodie bags and wearing big smiles.  Event partners included Arc Isle, Arkansas Game & Fish, Boy Scout Troop 10, Papa John’s Pizza, Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Hot Springs and Mountain Valley Water.
