I enjoy traveling (especially to The Smoky Mountains in Tennessee), reading, and scrapbooking.
Professionally:
I’m a National Board Certified Teacher. This year I was recognized as Teacher of the Year at Russellville High School. I’ve been teaching for 28 years (13 at Atkins High School and 15 at Russellville High School). I teach junior English and newspaper; I’m also the English Department Chair. I also sponsor the Interact Club.

Rotary: I’m the District Interact Chair. Four years ago, I was awarded the District Rotarian of the Year award. I’m a Paul Harris Fellow. In my local Rotary Club I’ve served as Club co-chair. I coordinate our Rotary/Interact activities and select the RYLA participants. |
